About Patrick
Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Patrick Crean has lived in Southeastern North Carolina for the past 32 years. Being a long-time transplant himself, Patrick enjoys nothing more than connecting with other aspiring homeowners and helping families through the relocation process!
Patrick has always admired living an active lifestyle on the coast. Now he helps others find that same passion when looking for their perfect home in their dream community. Originally working as a PGA golf professional in 2006, Patrick made the career switch to real estate. Since then, he’s helped hundreds of families buy and sell in our area.

When asked why he feels that coastal Carolina is so attractive, Patrick has a simple answer, “Climate, historic downtown, beaches, boating, golf, and the overall lifestyle.” Few things complement a chosen lifestyle better than the perfect community. The Home Place of Southport, Coastal Community Real Estate Group’s other preferred community, is also one of Patrick’s upcoming favorites. With Home Place it’s about being in a small, gated neighborhood, with proximity to Southport and Oak Island,” Patrick says. In Patrick’s case, the dedicated walking/biking trails in Brunswick Forest are the most attractive feature!

For those on the fence about whether to make the move to coastal Carolina, Patrick recommends talking to other residents. “If someone wants to live in North Carolina, and near a vibrant coastal city, our area is their only option,” Patrick adds. He emphasizes that it’s one choice that aspiring homeowners will not regret. Even if you’re completely new to the area, Patrick will be the first to tell you that it’s “Very easy to meet people with similar interests and hobbies.” All these elements blend to form an incredible experience that has already attracted tens of thousands of new Carolinians to the locale.
